Get to know the art works of Latvian painters in the multimedia exhibition “Symbolism” in the barn of Cēsis Castle, where the paintings of more than 40 outstanding artists “come to life”. Specially created moving animations and music and poetry of Latvian composers will ensure an unusual adventure.

Cesis is located in the heart of the Gauja National Park. The city is surrounded by the richness of the national park - sandstone rock outcrops, forests and the river Gauja. Only a few kilometres from the centre of Cēsis are the picturesque Cīrulīši nature trails, the Red cliffs and the Ērgļi cliff. Explore nature by boat, bike or hike.

Visit the Āraiši Lake Castle Archaeological Park Visitor Centre, where you will be able to see a unique exposition dedicated to the lake castle archaeological excavations and researcher Jānis Apals. For the first time since the excavations in the last century, you can see the archaeological values ​in the visitor centre and learn the stories of Jānis Apals. Afterwards you can see the lake castle in presence.

You can get exotic feelings in the camel park "Rakši" - ride a camel, feel the alpaca fur coat and go for a relaxing walk in the forest with a lama. There are more than 80 animals in zoo that can be fed by hand and photographed together.
