In honor of the heroism of Latvia’s freedom fighters and Latvia’s Victory Day, the 101st anniversary of the Battle of Cēsis, several exploratory events will take place on June 22.

Cēsis Castle complex will open the first two floors of the museum’s exposition, the Western Tower of the medieval castle, the multimedia exhibition “Cēsis Castle Story”, the medieval castle kitchen garden and the Exhibition House to the visitors.

In view of the state of emergency announced throughout the territory of Latvia with the aim of limiting the spread of COVID-19 and the restrictions imposed thereby, the Cēsis Spring Restaurant Week has been postpone for an indefinite period.

This year, Cesis will host a series of events that will allow residents and visitors of Cesis to enjoy cultural, gastronomic and artistic activities. Holidaymakers will enjoy festivals, concerts, sports events and restaurant weeks.
